Manners Can Be Fun 1936 3rd Printing/Dk Blue Material. My Mom purchased this at a local auction. It belonged to a lady that seemed to be very dedicated to volunteer work with children. "Karen Fairwether Kemp" and looks like it was passed on through her family throught the years...Jullie Kemp "52" Barbara "55" David "62" "Karen Fairweather Kemp" apparently became a writer later in her life. Very interesting to have a collectors book that belonged to a child that later became a writer herself. Any information on this book or the previous owner "Karen Fairweather Kemp" would be lovely.
My 7 year old son loves this book.

Munro Leaf Manners Can Be Fun I found a 1936 school library copy of Manners Can Be Fun at my local Goodwill bin store. It was a Cottenwood AZ issue, I had no idea who the author was until I visited this website seeking information on the author. Being raised in the 1950's,I loved the simplicity and straight foreward approach taken in text and pictures with room for reader participation at the end. Delightfull book, our schools need to revisit this particular venue.
